Aidil Adha greetings to all Muslims wherever you are. Aidil Adha is in some sense as the Feast of Sacrifice or Hari Raya Haji.
Hari Raya Haji, is a festival celebrated by Muslims around the world. It is the biggest festival in Islam than Hari Raya Aidil Fitri is celebrated on the 1st of Shawal after fasting for one month in the month of Ramadan.
Aidil Adha, celebrated on the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah every year. It starts with governance Aidil Adha on 10 Dhu al-Hijjah, followed by Eid al-Adha prayers and Eid al-Adha sermon in the morning 10-Hijjah, and followed with the ritual sacrifice that is done at 10, 11, 12 or day 13, Hijjah. All these days is called Hari Tasyrik.
Before, when I small, we rarely celebrate Eid al-Adha. Last Eid prayer, my father went to help the victim, while we do so. Nothing special other than getting meat that is given neighbors. That's how it feels when in the village, Hari Raya Haji welcomed not as vibrant as Aidil Fitri. Mak said Hari Raya Haji is only for people who already go to Hajj alone .. lol .. maybe we do not want to mak foremost in rejecting celebrate Eid al-Adha.
